Game data on your iPhone

Records for each difficulty, your selected difficulty, sound and haptic preferences, and your Game Center participation choice are stored locally through iOS UserDefaults. We do not send this game data to our own server or operate our own gameplay analytics or cloud sync. Storage provides the game functions and preferences you use (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR; section 25(2)(2) of Germany’s TDDDG for necessary device storage).

Local data remains until reset or removed by deleting the app. Offloading the app may preserve data. Device backups may contain data, depending on your Apple settings.

Optional Game Center leaderboards

You can choose to enable Apple's Game Center leaderboards. After you sign in successfully, scores from newly started rounds are sent to Apple for the selected difficulty. Existing local records are not uploaded retroactively. Your Game Center nickname and scores are visible to other Game Center players in Apple's leaderboards; Apple may also display your Game Center profile picture.

Apple provides sign-in and the leaderboards. We do not operate our own server for this feature. The app uses the player identifier supplied by Game Center on your device to associate results with the signed-in player. We do not send Game Center nicknames, player identifiers or leaderboard scores to our advertising services.

You can turn off automatic score submission in Wobble Zoo's settings. This stops future submissions by the app; it does not delete entries already stored by Apple. Apple's processing and Game Center profile settings are described in Game Center & Privacy.

Advertising with Google AdMob

The free version shows menu and results banners and occasional ad breaks between rounds. A voluntary video can rescue a round once. Google provides the advertising service; for users in the European Economic Area, this is Google Ireland Limited. Wobble Zoo sets the maximum ad content rating to G and disables Google’s Publisher First-Party ID. The game is intended for a general audience.

The Google Mobile Ads SDK may process IP addresses and approximate locations derived from them, app or device identifiers, crash and performance data, ad impressions, video views and interactions. This supports ad delivery, measurement, diagnostics and protection against abuse. Personalized advertising is possible only if you allow Apple’s App Tracking Transparency (ATT) request and your choices in Google’s consent flow also permit it. If ATT is denied or restricted, Wobble Zoo does not access the iOS advertising identifier IDFA and uses the restricted advertising configuration. Other technical processing by the advertising SDK can still occur.

In the European Economic Area, United Kingdom and Switzerland, Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP) checks privacy status before ad requests and presents the required consent flow. iOS may then present the native ATT request. In other regions, the native ATT request may appear when ads are otherwise eligible. Processing that requires consent is based on Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and, where device storage is involved, section 25(1) TDDDG. UMP stores your choice so it can be respected. The consent flow and Google’s notices explain any additional advertising partners, purposes and legal bases.

Where available, change your Google choices or withdraw consent for future processing under “Privacy options” in the app’s settings. Manage the separate ATT permission in iOS under Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking. Declining does not block gameplay, purchases or Game Center. It may affect ad and rescue-video availability; starting a new round remains free.

Read Google’s iOS advertising SDK disclosures, its information on non-personalized ads and Google’s privacy policy.

One-time purchase through Apple

Apple handles purchase, payment and restoration through the App Store. StoreKit supplies signed transaction and product information so the app can verify access and remove banners and ad breaks. Refunds or revoked purchase access can remove the unlock. This processing fulfils the purchase contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). We do not receive your card number or other payment instrument details.

Voluntary rescue videos remain available after purchase and still involve the advertising and consent processing described above. Apple manages App Store transaction records and their retention. See App Store & Privacy.

Visiting this website

GitHub hosts this entirely static website through GitHub Pages. It includes no advertising scripts, web trackers, analytics tools or external fonts and sets no cookies of its own. GitHub logs visitors’ IP addresses for security purposes and processes other technical request information. Providing and securing the website is our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

GitHub determines retention of its technical logs; we do not set a separate fixed retention period for them. See GitHub Pages and the GitHub privacy statement. External links contact their destination services only when you follow them.

Email support

When you contact us, we process your email address, message and any information you choose to attach to help with your request. Microsoft Outlook.com provides our mailbox. Please do not send passwords or payment details. Purchase and contract-related requests are processed under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR; other requests rely on our legitimate interest in responding under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

We delete support correspondence when it is no longer needed to handle the request, unless legal retention requirements or legitimate grounds, such as resolving claims, require continued storage. See the Microsoft privacy statement for the email provider’s processing.

Recipients and international processing

Google, Apple, GitHub and Microsoft may process data outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Their linked privacy notices explain responsibilities, retention and applicable transfer mechanisms, such as adequacy decisions and standard contractual clauses. We do not operate our own central database of game, advertising or payment profiles.

Your rights

Subject to applicable legal requirements, you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction and portability of your personal data. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests for reasons relating to your particular situation. You can withdraw consent for future processing without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal. Use the app’s privacy options for Google choices, iOS tracking settings for ATT, or contact ek_productions@outlook.de.

You may complain to a data protection authority, particularly where you normally live or work or where an alleged infringement occurred. The authority for North Rhine-Westphalia is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information. Without a game account, we cannot identify or delete your local game data remotely; you manage that data on your iPhone.
